At Reflections Therapy, we believe that the therapeutic relationship is the foundation for healing and growth. We are committed to providing our clients with a safe, supportive, and non-judgmental space where they can explore their challenges, build resilience, and achieve their goals. Reflections Therapy is seeking Psychotherapists and/or Social Workers to provide mental health counseling services to clients in Markham. The therapist will be responsible for providing evidence-based therapy services, nurturing a therapeutic relationship with clients, and maintaining accurate and timely client records.

You are a therapist who embodies compassion, empathy, and a genuine desire to help others. You are someone who is who is naturally curious, open-minded, and adaptable, with a gifted ability to connect with and care for their clients. You have a patient, understanding, and non-judgemental demeanor, and are committed to creating a safe environment where clients feel heard, validated, and empowered.
You prioritize building a strong therapeutic relationship with your clients, and are dedicated to collaborating with clients to develop personalized treatment plans that meet their unique needs and goals. You are skilled at actively listening, providing guidance, and encouraging clients to take ownership of their mental health and well-being.

Responsibilities

Nurture a therapeutic relationship with clients, providing a safe, supportive, and non-judgmental space where clients can explore their challenges, build resilience, and achieve their goals

Connect clients to psychiatrist via Psychotherapy Matters if requested or recommended

Practicing emotional, physical, and psychological self-care and maintaining healthy boundaries

Providing therapy services to clients in individual and/or couple's therapy

Individualize treatment approaches based on clients' needs.

Maintaining accurate and up-to-date client records, including progress notes and treatment plans.

Participating in regular supervision, if needed, and continuing education to maintain a high standard of clinical care.

Collaborating with other professionals as needed to provide comprehensive care to clients.

Maintaining compliance with the standards and regulations of the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO)
Requirements
-
Registered with the CRPO and in good standing.
-
Available for both in-person and virtual sessions. In-person availability is mandatory.

Commit at least 10 hours per week.

Provide FULL 60-minute session and have 10-15 minute break in between sessions.

Ability to work and manage caseload independently.

Proficient in the use of electronic medical records and other computer software.
